Enid Blyton titles added to children’s reading app, Fonetti

Hatchette Children’s Group, publisher of Enid Blyton, has teamed up with the Department for Education’s approved reading practise App, Fonetti, in order to upload a selection of Blyton’s stories to the Fonetti library.  

Fonetti is the digital children’s listening book shop App which listens to children reading aloud and checks their accuracy.  It helps children to practise reading skills and improve literacy. It is approved by the Department for Education’s Hungry Little Minds campaign, that supports reading practise and language skills in primary school age children. It is available from the Apple App Store, with Android launching very shortly.

This is the first time ever that Enid Blyton has been part of a digital literacy platform.

Children will be able to access the Blyton stories, which are grouped into three categories: summertime stories, animal stories and magic and mischief stories, using the Fonetti App (fonetti.com), with each bundle of stories costing £7.99.
